I hunted for this one for around 6 years before finding a used copy in a little record store in a suburb of Seattle. Originally I’d heard its first track (“All I Do”) on KEZX (98.9FM), one of Seattle’s many short-lived radio stations (a good one comes along and then gets killed by corporate programming, and this was the one that introduced me to the most music and which I therefore was devastated to lose). When I finally got my copy I had mixed reactions to it, as much of it’s “one note” (one that doesn’t fly very far, for me), but the presence of Joni Mitchell on backup vocals on “Liberty Lies” was a nice surprise.
