It’s a nice, non-stop compilation of their live work over the years, but I am mystified as to why they chose certain of these tracks. “I Need A Man,” for example: the Corbin Hall recording included on the 7" single for “Missionary Man” is far superior to the one here, with Annie doing the vocals alone and charging headlong through it. And why no live recording of “Conditioned Soul?” That was great live in 1986, really surprisingly rocking….
