This song is pretty funny in its way, especially after learning from the Boxed liner notes by Phill Savidge that Dave Stewart “says that they were originally going to call it You Ain’t Got Me Babe as it started as a parody of a Sonny and Cher song.” Its “life on tour” video, too, with the two of them occasionally trying to take the piss out of each other, illuminates both the album version and the weary, incomplete Acoustic Version included here.
