Ironically this first of the Just Can’t Get Enough series contains a really weak roster “My Sharona&148; and “Cruel to be Kind” being the only genuine “hits” and the others being presumably one-hit-wonders in the UK that never even registered in the US—if you can even call them “hits”—oddities, really. The Flying Lizards cover of “Money (That’s What I Want)” might be a good example of the justification for this collection: a non-hit that became more popular much later when presented in retrospect as archetypal New Wave weirdness. (I happen to like it.)
