Emotional Rescue
The Rolling Stones

As is probably the case with others who have loved certain Stones tracks without ever getting into the Stones overall, I have this album because of “Emotional Rescue” and “She’s So Cold.” I get a small kick out of “Where The Boys Go,” but other than those three tracks this album leaves me feeling almost clammy.
Thankfully the two tracks I got this album for still justify not only the expense but also the ownership. They’re completely different beasts, impossible to compare, so I just enjoy them for what they are: tidy little rock gems. “Emotional Rescue” is the more thought-provokingly tuneful, while “She’s So Cold” is just tasty rock in a compact form that grooves along quite agreeably.
