Really I have this CD just for “Something Good,” which very engagingly makes use of a sample of Kate Bush’s “Cloudbusting” to create a very fun dance track. Unfortunately it never really develops beyond the basic idea, and the rest of the CD amounts to even less on a per-track basis because only Bush’s contribution is inspired. That said, it’s a decent representation of house music of the day: formulaic and predictable even when sincere in its intentions.
