I got this in Summer 2006 after waking one morning with “Low Rider” stuck in my head, and upon purchasing the album at Tower Records I found that that track really is every bit as groovilicious as I’d remembered and then some. The rest of the album, however, eludes me so far; I’m giving it time and not rushing the acquaintance. But in any case that cover illustration is just creepy. (And I’ve always abhorred the title track.)
