Eurythmics: Savage
1988
Some of Sophie Muller’s greatest work as well as that of Eurythmics themselves. This is probably my favorite non-feature-film, seriously. The interplay of actress, video camera, still camera, and music is astounding when you stop to watch it as more than just pop video…and the expressions caught therein, and the musical tone of each of those moments, is delectable artistry from all sides at once.
